1. Yoga Philosophy and Ethical Guidelines for teachers
Objective: Yoga Philosophy will prepare the student to
1) Describe the history and mythogloical descent of Yoga and Ayurveda
2) List the main texts of Yoga, Ayurveda
3) List and describe the philosophies of the Yoga and Samkhya 4) Describe Samkhya and Yoga Philosophy in a chronological order
5) List Asthanga Ayurveda and Ashtanga Yoga (See below)

Eight Limbs of Hatha Yoga

An in debth look at the 8 limbs of Ashtanga Yoga, We will examine and define the Yamas and Niyama, Asana, Pranayama, Dhyana, Dharana, Samadhi Concept of Health according to Ayurveda
Ayurveda Lifestyle- Four types of Ayus, Lifestyle of yogi, Vata, Pitt a and Kapha body types
Bhakti Yoga, Dhyana Yoga, Hatha Yoga, Ashtanga Yoga-

Teaching Methodology and Asana Practice

1) Demonstration of a 30 min Yoga Sequencing for conclusion of the class, verbalization and story boarding the asana sequence and teaching a sample class
2) Assessment of Students Ability to wind down the class with cool down, mindful meditation and use appropriate pranayama, breathing, verbalization and shavasana techniques
3)Body Type assessment and alignment for Vata, Pitta and Kapha
